Soccer Betting experts in a Quandary over EPL Winners This Season

Last two seasons have been quite unpredictable and nightmarish for the soccer betting experts. Last year this time Manchester United were in the ascendancy and whichever soccer tips blog you read claimed that the Red Devils will clinch the Premier League crown and leave their city neighbours with their years of trophy draught. But over the next few months Manchester City displayed prime form, defeating everything that came in their way. Manchester United too lost many points. Then it came to the last day and perhaps the last kick to decide the EPL crown. Manchester City had the glories and Manchester United was left licking their wounds.

Prior to the 2012-13 season, Manchester United looked very busy in the transfer market. They let go Berbatov and brought one of the world’s most fearsome strikers in the form of Robin Van Persie. Though many claimed young custodian David De Gea was not ready for a first team slot, but Sir Alex knew better. He has since stuck with De Gea as his number one choice. Manchester United has got their money worth with Van Persie. He is the leading goal scorer in the EPL 2012-13 and his form never seems to fail. He has been the difference between Manchester United and other teams.

The light blue neighbours, Manchester City, are again in hot pursuit of the EPL crown. Though they are 5 points adrift of the leaders, but they will take heart from the experience of last season. As ever Roberto Mancini is voting Manchester United as the favourite for this year’s EPL along with many other soccerbetting experts. But Manchester City will race on till the end. Yaya Toure’s absence due to African Nations Cup has made Man City look average. They will be wishing other talismans can keep up the good work. In fact Edin Dzeko, Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero are looking in great form.

Chelsea is still hopeful, though none of soccer betting experts are giving them any outside chance. They trail the leaders by 11 points, but Raphael Benitez is still hopeful of salvaging something. One of the teams that has caught the eye of every soccer betting expert is the Welsh side Swansea. If they were a good team under Brendan Rogers, they have become a highly competitive side under Brian Laudrup.

Given the situation it is not a safe idea to be giving any soccer tips this season.
